Introduction to ElectroBraid Fence
Electrified fencing has developed over the past 40 years from a method of improving existing barrier fencing (or as a portable rotational fence within a barrier fence) to permanent fencing in the form of high tensile wire or braided steel wire. The four major problems not addressed with these materials are:
- Cost
- Difficulty of installation
- The need for constant maintenance/supervision
- And most importantly, safety of the livestock.
Temporary or portable electric fencing is also widely used, but is frustrating to assemble and disassemble, primarily because the fencing materials used are not designed to survive repeated handling.
ElectroBraid™ solves all of these problems
1) Unlike high tensile steel wire (htsw), ElectroBraid ™ is not secured to each fence post and, because it isn't affected by temperature changes, ElectroBraid ™ only needs to be tightened by hand, instead of being forcefully tensioned. This reduces the overall cost of fencing by reducing the need to withstand high tensional forces on fence posts and braces. With ElectroBraid ™ line, posts need only be installed every 50' to 100', greatly reducing labor and material costs.
2) ElectroBraid ™ is easy to handle, making installation more enjoyable and safer for the installer.
3) ElectroBraid ™ requires only moderate tensioning because ElectroBraid ™ is dimensionally stable, and the constant risk of broken lines is virtually eliminated due to ElectroBraid's ™ strength and resiliency.
4) ElectroBraid ™ poses no threat to animals and will not cut or puncture the hides of your livestock.
