Horse Fence
Horses (Four line fence):
Use a four line fence for horses. Extra grounding every 1300' to 2600' (particularly where soil is dry e.g.: hill tops). Use 12-14 gauge, insulated copper wire to ensure a continuous circuit.
Calculating horse fence height:
Horse fences should stand the same height as the type of horses you have. For example, a 17 hand horse stands 68" (hand=4" ).
